I am an Adjunct Professor of Law and I teach the typical legal and business issues in the multimedia field. This includes Intellectual Property laws and the rights granted under Patent, Copyright, Trademarks, as well as trade secrets, unfair competition, disclosure, principles of fair use, infringement and government regulations. I teach the mechanics of the American Justice System, the roles, responsibility and duties of the four branches of the American government, and Constitutional, Statutory, Common, Administrative, Libel and Privacy laws.
I have 34 years of law enforcement experience and I am a graduate of several specialized schools to include but not limited to, DHS Executive Leadership Training, Contracting Officers Representative Training, Acquisition Management, Civil Litigation, FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development (LEEDA), FBI Crime Scene Management/Investigation School, FBI Indoor Post-Explosion Crime Scene Investigation School, Death Investigation, Improvised Explosive Device Course, Legal Aspects of Combating Terrorism, Offender Profiling-Psychology contributions to Behavioral Crime Scene Analysis, Counter-Intelligence/Counter-terrorism, Department of Justice & Department of Homeland Security, US Secret Service Terrorism Trends and Tactics, Navy Credentialing Special Warfare Anti-Terrorism (NAVSPECWARATAB) Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS), and the National War College Anti-Terrorism Program. In addition, I have graduated from the National Judicial College in The Traffic Issues for Judges and Adjudicators. It was developed for both new and more experienced traffic judges and adjudicators on traffic issues. The course contains five modules on the following topics: Fourth and Fifth Amendments, DUI, special populations, unlicensed and uninsured drivers, and commercial driver's licensing laws.
I currently represent individuals with the Firm of Beemer, Beemer & Associates in Maritime & Admiralty Law/Contractual Law and for various employment issues, including discrimination claims, wrongful terminations (removals), suspensions, failure to accommodate and disability claims. I represent federal employees before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Department of Labor, Office of Worker's Compensation Program (DOL/OWCP) Social Security Administration (SSA), Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA/BCA) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). I am an approved mediator listed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona. Additionally, being part American Indian (Shawnee) and a member of the Kispoko Sept of Ohio Shawnee and the National Native American Bar Association, I represent individuals in specific tribal courts and justice systems that are components of the tribal government.
