How to Read People
Dr. Jo-Ellan Dimitrius–America’s
leading behavioral expert – will share tips for dispute resolution
professionals to spot the critical clues to a person’s integrity, work

Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, Ph.D. is the
President of Dimitrius & Associates, LLC and is
an internationally known and highly respected trial consultant, specializing
in jury research and strategic trial theme development. Dr. Dimitrius
has extensive experience in the selection of juries and has consulted, in a
lead role, on high profile cases, including the O.J. Simpson, Rodney King,
Reginald Denny, McMartin Pre-School, Francis Ford
Coppola, U.S. v. Ken Lay & Jeff Skilling matters.
Dr. Dimitrius has consulted with attorneys on over 800 cases
and selected over 400 juries. She
has assisted clients in all major fields of litigation, in particular:
anti-trust, employment, contract insurance, fraud, criminal conspiracy,
environmental, intellectual property and patents, professional negligence,
product liability and securities.
Dr. Dimitrius is widely published and is sought after by the
media as an expert in her field.
Her eighteen years of trial consulting experience include focus group
and mock trial development, voir dire, jury
selection, witness preparation, trial monitoring, case strategy consultation
and design of juror questionnaires.
Dr. Dimitrius co-authored a book entitled Reading People,
which was released in June of 1998, by Random House. Her current book Put Your Best Foot
Forward was released by Simon & Schuster.
