PROGRAM TOPIC: Superior Court Update. Presiding Family Court Judge Suzanne Cohen, will provide an update about what is going on with the Court that is of interest to mediators. She will discuss recent innovations and program developments within the Family Court, with particular emphasis on the use of mediation in court proceedings. Judge Cohen looks forward to answering our questions about court programs and she welcomes an interactive conversation with MCAFM members and our guests.
PRESENTER: The Honorable Suzanne Cohen, has been the Family Court Presiding Judge, Maricopa County Superior Court since 2016. She received a B.A in Economics from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in 1989 and graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law, with Honors, in 1997. She was Deputy District Attorney, Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Blythe, CA from 1998 - 1999. From 2000 - 2012, she was Deputy County Attorney, Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Phoenix, AZ prior to her appointment to the Superior Court in 2013.
